Hello everyone!!! I’m so excited to be starting my new blog site. I basically just wanted to share apart of my life with people and to let everyone know that God loves you so much. I’m a recent graduate of a University in Jamaica, and want to blog my way to success!!!
Stick around for the journey, the ups and downs…. the challenges and the results. Remember God loves you and he has plans to bless and prosper you. Whatever area in your life that you would like to succeed in, just trust God and he will direct your paths.
Do you have your mouth open wide today? In other words, are you expecting God to fill you and increase you beyond measure? Are ready for Him to satisfy your needs and desires with good things? Think about a baby bird. When they are ready to eat, they open their mouths wide. They trust that they will be fed. They expect it. They look for it. They are ready for it.
It should be the same way with us. We need to keep our spiritual mouths open by expecting the goodness of Godto satisfy us. Negative thinking is like closing your mouth. A closed mouth can’t be filled. But Jesus is saying today, why don’t you take the limits off? Why don’t you trust and believe for supernatural opportunities?
That little bird waiting for food isn’t concerned about where the mother is going to get it from. It isn’t concerned about how she’s going to dig it up. No, that bird just opens its mouth, trusting and waiting. Why don’t you do the same today? Trust that God is working behind the scenes. Open your mouth wide today. You won’t be disappointed. God is faithful to His Word, and He will fill you and satisfy you when you put your trust in Him!
A PRAYER FOR TODAY
Heavenly Father, I come to You today, asking You to fill my mouth. I choose to trust You even when I don’t understand how everything is going to work out. I know that You are a good God with a good plan for my life. Fill me with Your peace and patience as I humbly wait on You. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
Have you ever had a difficult problem that just would not go away? Or maybe someone or something in your life that is just so overwhelming to the point that it becomes your giant? Well if you do, you are not alone. Something happened recently at work, where i was forced to work with someone whom i thought was a giant in my way. Every single day that person would just get on my last nerve, to the point that i was even trying to get a transfer to a different location.
Did i pray about it at first? No… it was more like complained about the situation and asking God to move me from my current location. Sometimes when things seem not to be going the way that we want them to, we start to whine, complain, and even sometimes uproot ourselves from our problems, when all God wants us to do is to stay and watch Him fight our battles for us.
The Bible speaks about a time where the fearsome Philistines were always in the way of the Israelites mocking and jeering them, being the giants in their lives. Until one day David took up the challenge to fight the Philistine giant in his way. He used the weapon that he had (a slingshot) to conquer the great 9 foot giant, as oppose to the huge sword that the mighty Philistine came with.

Hey guys!!! I’m back in the cyber world after so long. Nothing wrong with me, just been all over and adjusting myself to life as it comes. Right now that’s how I have to be living – one day at a time. Really that’s how God wants us to live, not worrying about what tomorrow holds because in truth and in fact, God holds our future. My name is Doug Copp. I am the Rescue Chief and Disaster Manager of the
American Rescue Team International (ARTI), the world’s most experienced
rescue team. The information in this article will save lives in an
earthquake.
I have crawled inside 875 collapsed buildings, worked with rescue teams from
60 countries, founded rescue teams in several countries, and I am a member
of many rescue teams from many countries.
I was the United Nations expert in Disaster Mitigation for two years. I have
worked at every major disaster in the world since 1985, except for
simultaneous disasters.
The first building I ever crawled inside of was a school in Mexico City
during the 1985 earthquake. Every child was under its desk. Every child was
crushed to the thickness of their bones. They could have survived by lying
down next to their desks in the aisles. It was obscene, unnecessary and I
wondered why the children were not in the aisles. I didn’t at the time know
that the children were told to hide under something. I am amazed that even
today schools are still using the ?Duck and Cover? instructions- telling the
children to squat under their desks with their heads bowed and covered with
their hands. This was the technique used in the Mexico City school.
Simply stated, when buildings collapse, the weight of the ceilings falling
upon the objects or furniture inside crushes these objects, leaving a space
or void next to them. This space is what I call the ‘triangle of life’. The
larger the object, the stronger, the less it will compact. The less the
object compacts, the larger the void, the greater the probability that the
person who is using this void for safety will not be injured. The next time
you watch collapsed buildings, on television, count the ‘triangles’ you see
formed. They are everywhere. It is the most common shape, you will see, in a
collapsed building.
